Mood Swings

Mood Swings is an immersive audiovisual installation that explores how sound shapes our perception of moving images.

A seamless visual loop shows a dancing crowd gradually morphing into a single breathing organism. The screening is accompanied by headphones offering three distinct audio channels — each creating a different emotional atmosphere. Viewers are invited to switch between these channels (techno, klavier and spoken word) while watching the visuals.

The installation highlights the powerful influence of sound on our visual experience. It not only transforms the emotional tone of what we see, but also alters our perception of time itself.
